“Smokey Mountain” it’s probably the poorest neighborhood in the Philippines. It isn’t really a neighborhood it’s more like the city dump site.
With time people move into the dump site and build their house there, living from other peoples trash.
Today thousands of peoples live in the smokey mountain slum, with no schools, running water or electricity ! Kids that going through the garbage everyday to find stuff that they could sale and make money to feed their family’s.
I Moved into the slum and with the help of a local organization “Young Focus” we have take part in three projects for the children of “Smokey Mountain”
